Job Description

Electrical Field Lead: Maintain the Wachter's high standard of quality installations, professionalism, and demonstrate knowledge of industry standards and current NEC requirements. This position will require travel throughout the U.S. A current Journeyman or Masters License at the state level is required.

  • Demonstrate educated competency as a qualified Electrician with developed leadership skills
    • Ability to read blueprints and comprehend SOW documents
    • Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills
    • Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by the Company and OSHA
    • Responsible for field deliverables for each site (i.e. pictures, signed checklists, As-Built, etc.)
    • Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your Project Manager may assign
    • Proficient in use of test equipment.  (Meggers and Ground testers.) 
    • Ability to operate a variety of lift equipment and perform work at elevations
    • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ARC Flash NFPA 70E
    • Proficient in use of test equipment.  (Meggers and Ground testers.) 
    • Ability to operate a variety of lift equipment and perform work at elevations
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and computer skills.
    • Maintain the company’s high standard of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, customer relations, coworkers, behavior and appearance.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to coach, motivate and mentor field staff
    • Time Management Skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlines and daily deliverables
    • Oversee training for co-workers as needed
    • Ability to resolve conflict while maintaining positive relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrate effective capability in problem solving and analytical thinking
    • Ability to thrive in a high pressure environment
    • Preferred competency with Microsoft Office Products, Outlook, Word, Excel
    • Ability to easily navigate through current mobile phone app technology
  • Availability and Benefits
    • Ability to work overtime and/or overnight shifts when required to meet project requirements
    • Physically be able to participate in field installations
    • Field Truck with tools will be provided. Some personal tools required

Job Requirements

  • Journeyman or Master Electrical License
  • Ability to pass pre-screening tests and have a clean driving record
